HauteMama is a Canadian maternity and nursing fashion boutique founded in Ottawa, shipping across Canada. We curate elevated, sustainable styles for every stage of motherhood, from the first bump to the last feed and beyond.
Where It All Started
HauteMama was born from a simple frustration: maternity clothes that felt like an afterthought.
In the mid-2000s, co-founders Shannon Dougall and her mother set out to change that. They believed that pregnancy and new motherhood deserved real style — not shapeless compromise. What started as a boutique in Ottawa became something more: a community, a curation, and a quiet act of respect for women in one of the most transformative seasons of their lives.
Twenty years later, that belief hasn't changed.
